Chai shop

The shop

The Chai Shop, also referred to as the Tea Stall, and the Tea & Coffee Corner, is the shop of Chaiwala, located in Furfuri Nagar and Modern City. It has 2 benches and has a kitchen.

Appearance of the shop[]

The shop is covered with a white and blue roof tent. A stove is placed, where Chaiwala cooks samosas and preparesChai. He uses a Furfuri Nagar Gas Cylinder. Motu, Patlu and their friends usually gather here. There is a water tank and a few cans of Kerosene. Chaiwala cares for his shop more than anything else. It also has cutlery and glass mugs, as well as newspapers which the guests often read. A dustbin is kept to throw waste. There is a poster of Chamki Detergent Soap advertising the soap. Television can often be seen. There is a calendar of 2013. It is next to Sabziwali's shop and near Motu Patlu's house. In various episodes and movies, the shop has a big television, which is normally seen broadcasting Motu and Patlu as they fight certain villains.

There are numerous food items available in his shop. The fast-food available in his shop are Samosas, Pakoras, and Chai, as well as Milk. Dishes like Chole Masala, Matar Paneer, Tadka Dal are available. There's availability of sweets such as sandesh, pedhas, rasgulla, chaklis, barfis, laddus & gulab jamun. The non-vegetarian dishes are egg bhurji, egg, Chinese & egg omelet. In the newer episodes of Motu Patlu, the Chai Shop is seen to sell potato chips.

Trivia[]

  • Chaiwala follows the "eat first, pay later" model, and gets very suspicious if a customer pays him first before ordering. This is to prevent the use of fake money.
